On the 24th and 25th October 2019, in Glasgow, the kick-off meeting of the EMIC-GEM Erasmus+ Project took place. It was the opportunity for partners to get to know each other in order to establish effective systems for work, communication & project management. The objective of this first meeting was to achieve a common understanding of the project and its expected outputs, as well as of off-site and modular (OSM) construction methods. The project will run until February 2022 and have a total budget of € 312 936.00.
The first day, after the partners’ introductions, the session focused on activities such as project management, budget allocation, risk management and impact assessment. The second day, the meeting focused on the first intellectual output (IO1), that is the development of a Training Model & Competency Framework (including suggesting potential local businesses to be contacted and creating survey questions), and on the third intellectual output (IO3), in terms of design of Website, Social Media, External Communication & Branding.
